🇸🇪 Sandqvist

production documented elsewhere

Where is Sandqvist made?

Sandqvist publishes its factory list in full, and it is an Asian one: the recycled-polyester bags — by its own account the majority of the range — are sewn at Pungkook Saigon II and Pungkook Saigon Long An in Vietnam, and most leather goods at Butler Leather in Chennai, India. The page states plainly that “the majority of our production takes place in Asia”. The one European step is tanning: Scandinavian hides are tanned at Scan-Hide in Denmark before being shipped to India for re-tanning.
