Where is Bally made?
Bally's own about page still describes its Scribe shoes as handmade in Switzerland by artisans in Caslano. Swiss public broadcaster SRF and the trade press reported in May 2026 that production in Caslano is ending by the end of August after 175 years, with the last 27 production jobs cut and Italian production already wound down in 2025; no successor manufacturing site has been named. The company has been under a debt-restructuring moratorium since June 2026.
